At Cherry Stables, our customers’ horses are cared for by our caretakers and staff 7 days a week. Each horse’s program is customized and tailored to them as an individual. With a reputation of training top horses on the West Coast, the Cherrys’ unique eye routinely identifies and develops up and coming prospects, and also successfully finds and matches the right horse for each amateur. Our greatest thrill is taking our show horses to the top and keeping them performing at the highest level season after season. Our program has a strong emphasis on instruction, laughter, and time spent with our barn family.

When are lessons taught?
Lesson Schedule:
Monday- Friday 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00
Saturday 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00
Sunday 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00
What should I wear to my lessons?
We recommend arriving to your first lesson wearing long pants and closed toed shoes with a heel. After one month of riding, riders are strongly encouraged to purchase proper riding clothes that are approved by their instructor.
How long do I ride?
Expect to spend at least an hour at the barn! Riders are required to ready and care for their horses before and after their lessons. Lessons will consist of 30 minutes of riding with 15 minutes on either end of the lesson.
Are lessons private?
There are strong benefits to both group and private lessons. During initial riding instruction, lessons will be private in order to provide undivided attention to the horse and new rider. As a student progresses, they will ultimately advance to group riding lessons. Group lessons will have up to 4 riders and lend themselves to teaching riders new skills and to practice with other riders of similar experience levels.
What is the price of a lesson?
Private Individual Lesson: $90
Group Individual Lesson: $75
